Robert Bringle (Kulynych/Cline Visiting Distinguished Professor, Psychology Department) will present at the 13th Annual Conference on Teaching of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology on October 10, 2014 in Atlanta, GA. This year's conference has the theme "Best Practices in Teaching Psychology." Professor Bringle's presentation, "Developing Psychologically Literate Citizens through Service Learning: From Knowledge to Engagement," is part of a panel that is based on a book he is writing with colleagues on the significant ways in which service learning can enhance academic, civic, and personal outcomes for undergraduate psychology students. The book will be published by the American Psychological Association in 2015.
